Maui

Tantalus Studio was hired by the clients of a new construction unit at the Makena resort development on Maui to layer in decorative lighting, furnishings, wallcoverings, and artwork.  The family would be using this home for vacation on the island.  They wanted the unit to feel tropical and inviting but also with a contemporary edge.  Deep blues and burgundy accents in the fabrics and furniture liven the warm, neutral palette.  The textural and graphic wallcovering selection in the great room adds a moody backdrop to the space.
